Cắt đào thành từng miếng nhỏ, lấy một chiếc nồi cho đường và đào đã cắt vào rồi để nguyên như vậy khoảng 5 phút, như vậy sẽ giúp đường tan ra.

Tiếp đó bật bếp lên và đun nồi đào với lửa vừa đến khi đường tan ra hoàn toàn và sánh lại như keo.

Sau khi đã đun xong tắt bếp và để nguội, vớt phần đào để riêng ra, giờ thì lấy ly thủy tinh pha trà đào với nước sôi và ngâm trong khoảng 3 phút cho trà phai ra hết.

Lấy một ly thủy tinh khác cho phần đào đã đun ở trên vào ly một lượng vừa đủ dùng rồi cho đá nhỏ vào đầy ly. Bước cuối cùng là rót trà vào cốc thủy tinh ở trên.
